Music has always been a large part of Russ' life; whether it was going to the local music store and purchasing CD's or playing his drums in several local bands.

"I remember seeing Peter Criss playing the drums at a KISS concert years ago, and I was totally blown away! That concert determined that I was going to play the drums!"

Russ is a big believer in being exposed to all styles of music, but most importantly having FUN playing music.
